The Challenge
- • Bengaluru's severe traffic congestion and air pollution
- • Need for behavioral change in commuting patterns
- • Building trust in a government-led reward system
- • Balancing user privacy with verification requirements
A civic rewards mobile application that incentivizes responsible commuting to reduce traffic congestion in Bengaluru using fair pricing and transparent governance.
Commuter Rewards is a government-backed mobile application designed to ease Bengaluru's traffic congestion by rewarding citizens for choosing sustainable travel options during peak hours.
The app allows users to register their vehicles, track trips, earn rewards, and view their civic impact — all while maintaining privacy and transparency.
I designed a clean, trustworthy, and motivating interface using calming blues and teals to represent sustainability and trust. The UI focuses on clarity, transparency, and delight — making civic participation feel rewarding rather than bureaucratic.
